Beans were once something that were easy to come by. They weren’t a hot commodity. Most wouldn’t describe them as popular. I could easily stock up on any and all the beans – black beans, chickpeas, great northern beans, pinto beans, kidney beans – you name it! It was NBD to fill my pantry with an abundance of dry and canned beans.
Well.. not anymore!!
Now it’s darn near impossible to find a bag of beans. And the canned bean aisle would suggest that everyone in the county has gone plant-based. WOOHOO!!
Unfortunately, I think don’t that’s the case. My fear is that the beans I can no longer get from the grocery are now stock-piled in pantries, garages and closets. ?
