The holidays are often a time when we deviate from our normal healthy habits to indulge in some special occasion treats. But sweet treats don’t have to equate to unhealthy choices. We can prepare and share healthy (yet delicious!) holiday treats with our friends and family and as a bonus we can feel generous for the flavor and nutrition they’re providing.
Last year was our first Healthy Holiday Treat series. We had so much fun dreaming up treats that we decided to make it an annual tradition. Each year we get together around Thanksgiving and have a multiple day bake-a-thon. There’s tons of taste testings, food photography, chocolate… lots of chocolate, dirty dishes, fails and if we’re lucky… a few successes.
