Radish & Black Bean Hummus Toast
Top your favorite sprouted or whole grain bread with this simple black bean hummus and sliced radish. Sprinkle with pepitas and finish with black pepper.

Hummus
1
can
black beans, no salt added (including liquid)

dates, pitted (optional)

garlic

lemon juice

cumin

ground black pepper

salt
Toast
1
slice
100% whole grains or sprouted grain bread
2
radishes, thinly sliced
1
tsp
pepitas
or sunflower seeds
ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Make hummus by adding all hummus ingredients to a food processor and blending until smooth (30-60 seconds, stopping to scrape down sides as needed.
Toast bread. Spread with 1-2 T. hummus and top with radish slices, pepitas and ground black pepper.
Best if enjoyed right away.
